We chose RDB because of its global presence and for the reliability that comes from dealing with a leading provider. Other options lacked the flexibility and configurability that we found with RDB. It was one of the only solutions in the market where we could see the full functionality in their demonstration product, which gave us the confidence to commit. The flexibility of RDB allows it to be customised to suit businesses of all sizes and we are a great example of that.
The implementation and training was first rate and we delivered the project on time and pretty much on budget. As with most companies we have had technology projects that have become headaches and exceeded costs: RDB implementation has surpassed our speed and implementation expectations.
All of that is irrelevant if our consultants can’t see how it is helping them do their job. In that regard, all our staff were excited before go live and have been huge fans since. One of our project goals was to declutter the recruitment process and give our consultants time back and RDBnow has delivered on all fronts.

RDB ProNet is as powerful now as when it was sold to us. I like the fact that it is so customisable to suit our way of working. It is great as it doubles as a document control centre as well, so we could standardise and improve on our current documents and streamline what we send out to clients. A little over a week after Protech has gone live with the upgrade of RDB v6.5, We were able to use RDB seamlessly first thing Monday morning (13th August 2018) and throughout the week with no major issue. Therefore fair to say that this upgrade was successfully delivered. This gives Protech a great deal of confidence for future upgrades moving forward. While it can be challenging at times to fit such a big task in competing with a million of other things, I am personally very pleased to work with a software vendor who knows its product and responds well to customers’ needs. The support is first rate and led by Forbes that knows this product intimately. When you need small fixes and changes done you want them done promptly. This is what makes all the difference with RDB. We can we make a change and move on quickly and effectively. We don’t have to always work around and put up with a process that we don’t want and that doesn’t make sense on the floor.
